La Montolía

It is a completely independent project from the rest of my work,  another style of drawing that also represents me. These are vignettes with a touch of humor in which I illustrate anecdotes of everyday life, love, feminism and my beloved cat.

Shutdown

I have to…

She is leaning a little down, looking at the hair and does not see that the boy instead of head has a bunch of red flags. You can see 5 red flags arranged like flowers inside a vase. She comments: "you have a little hair".

Red flags

From his mouth fall letters and form the phrase "You're weird" that fall as rain on the umbrella of a girl. The girl with the open umbrella is walking in the opposite direction to the other being. Rare

Both have the same pose: with the body leaning on the ground, arms stretched beside the body, knees to the chest and hips raised. They are facing each other and the girl asks her how her New Year's resolutions are going.

Apathy
Image divided in two. Separated by a vertical black line. On the left side, above is a text in capital letters "when you exceed its limits..." all text in black and "its" in red. Below the text, in the foreground, a cat licking its paw, with visible nails and traces of blood on its tongue. Behind the cat, the traces of his blood-stained footprints are visible and go to a wounded girl, full of scratches and part of her clothes torn. With a pained expression. In the other half of the image, at the top, a text in capital letters "when you exceed your limits..." all text in black and "your" in red. In the foreground, the girl who was scratched before is now sitting on the floor, legs bent, hugging her knees and crying. In the background, the cat can be seen covering her face with one of her little paws, with an indignant expression, and comments "humans..."

Limits
Black ink drawing on white background. In a train or subway car you can see a girl in the center coughing with a mask on. She has a frightened or surprised expression. Around her several people look at her and turn away frightened.

Cough

In the upper part, a girl without mask resting inside a bubble. Inside the bubble there are also hearts and butterflies and the girl's expression is one of happiness.

Earth

Rusty

Hug

The cat is also wearing the beanie, a necklace and a black cat's mouth. The girl's expression is cheerful, while the cat has an expression between anger and resignation. From the girl comes a thought bubble with the words "You are the love of my life" in capital letters and from the cat also comes another bubble with the words "Please let me find a partner this year" also in capital letters.

Happy new year

In the upper left part of the image, there is a girl sitting on the floor, with her head resting on her knees and her arms around her legs. She has a face of suffering and a drop of sweat drips down her temples. The girl comments: "What now? In the lower part of the image, in the foreground, her cat looking at her sideways with a serious expression says: Stop moaning, damn human, and move your ass. You'll know how you do it, but I'm not going to go without those expensive tins I like so much.
